Work with Android 5.1 and higher PLEASE note that:
• This app only sets up a local VPN interface to be able to block the network traffic of apps without root. Additionally, it does not request potentially harmful permissions like Storage, Contacts, Location, and SMS. So, you can trust that it does not connect to a remote server to steal your privacy data. Please use with confidence! • Because this app is based on VPN framework of Android OS, so if turned it on you cannot use another VPN app at the same time and it may drain the battery.
• Ads loaded from cache memory can still be displayed by apps and games despite Internet blocking. So, you also need to clear their cache to be able to hide ads.
• If the app does not have a network, some instant messaging apps, such as Skype and WhatsApp, may use Google Play services to receive messages. Therefore, in order to prevent IM apps from receiving messages, you may also need to block “Google Play services.” • Battery Optimization feature of Android OS may automatically stop VPN apps in the sleep mode to save battery. Therefore, in order for Net Blocker to continue operating normally, you may need to disable the battery optimization. • This app cannot block apps that use Dual Messenger because Dual Messenger is only available on Samsung devices and does not fully support VPN. FAQ:
• Why am I unable to press the dialog’s “OK” button? This problem may be caused by using an app that can overlay other apps, such as blue light filter apps. Those apps may overlay the VPN dialog, so that cannot press “OK” button. This is a bug in the Android operating system that must be fixed by Google through an OS update. So if your device hasn’t fixed yet, you may need to turn off the light filter apps and try again.
