Video & TV Cast presents several significant benefits over Miracast screen mirroring:
MULTI-TASKING: You can exit the application while streaming! Your smartphone can even be powered off, or you could make a phone call, send a text, or prepare another video in the browser while streaming.
FULL HD: You can cast in Full HD even on Android devices with lower screen resolutions. In contrast, Miracast is limited to the resolution of your Android device.
LESS WIFI USAGE: With Video & TV Cast, only the LG TV retrieves the video during streaming. In Miracast, all video data must be transmitted through your phone.
DEVICE SUPPORT: Video & TV Cast is compatible with all Android devices. Miracast is not.

Using Video & TV Cast, you can surf the internet and stream any web video, online movie, live stream, or live TV show on your LG Smart TV. Simply go to your preferred website and send the embedded video with a single click to your LG TV. The detected video will appear below the browser. One click on the video link will instantly transmit it to your LG TV.
To enable video streaming, please launch the LG App Store (LG Smart World / LG Content Store) on your TV, look for ‘TV Cast,‘ and install the free companion application.
To connect, scan the QR Code displayed on your TV or input the IP Address of your Android device using the number pad and navigation arrows or scroll wheel on your TV remote.
NON-SUPPORTED Videos: Third–party applications, Flash videos, Google Play movies, Netflix, Amazon, HBO, and other DRM–protected web videos, online movies, live streams, and live TV shows.
Please try your websites and videos in the free version! An upgrade will not magically resolve casting issues.
