About phone languages
Easily set up your preferred language on your mobile device using this application.
The Languages Phone application allows you to enable all Samsung-supported languages and keyboard configurations.
This app functions automatically without requiring your intervention; however, with Android version 4.2 and later (Jelly Bean), the definition for CHANGE_CONFIGURATION‘s protection level has been altered, necessitating manual permission for CHANGE_CONFIGURATION.
If you are familiar with the adb commands within Android development tools, you can download them and manually grant this application the necessary permissions by connecting your phone to your computer via a USB cable and executing this command in the terminal:
adb shell pm grant com.jkardev. languagesphone android. permission. CHANGE_CONFIGURATION
Note: Look online for additional information.
If your device has SuperUser access, the Change Languages application can automatically obtain the required permissions.
Beginning with Android version 7 Nougat, the app will prompt you for a new permission that is necessary to modify system settings.
Some device models (like US and Chinese versions) may eliminate all languages that are not in use entirely, and regrettably, there isn’t much that can be done about this issue.
