The Government app is a comprehensive platform designed to unify services from different governmental bodies. It provides a means for citizens to reach out to government representatives via online methods through a single app created by the Digital Government Development Agency, known as DGA, which is the governmental organization dedicated to advancing the digital transformation of the nation‘s administration. Notably, Thailand has achieved the international benchmark of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for its cyber information security management system.
Users can trust that the Government app is entirely dependable. The system’s security and the protection of personal data adhere to the Personal Data Protection Act of 2019 and related regulations. Users must go through a registration and identity verification process (KYC), which is akin to procedures used by banking apps, including scanning a national ID card and a face scan. Following this, users can access a wide range of information and services. The app currently offers over 150 services, with plans for more in the future, aimed at facilitating communication between citizens of all ages and government officials in the digital era.
