WiFi Analyzer (open-source)
About WiFi Analyzer (open-source)
Enhance your WiFi network with WiFi Analyzer (open-source) by analyzing nearby WiFi signals, assessing their strength, and locating busy channels.
Concerns regarding user privacy and security are prevalent today, and WiFi Analyzer (open-source) is built to minimize permissions. It only requests the minimum needed to conduct its analysis. Notes:
- Android 9 introduced restrictions on Wi-Fi scanning. Android 10 has a new developer setting to disable this throttling found in (Settings > Developer Options > Networking > Wi-Fi scan throttling).
- Android 9.0 and above requires both location access and location services activated for conducting a WiFi scan.
